HOW TO CHECK IN
How your arrival works
Getting to Gandum is simple. But there are small details that make everything faster and more comfortable for you—and for us.
Here we explain exactly how it works.
1. Upon arrival
Upon entering the property:
Park in the main parking lot, next to the reception area.
Don't take the bags out of the car just yet.
First, we check you in. Then we show you the parking lot closest to your room or house. This avoids unnecessary luggage carrying.
2. Go to the reception desk
The reception is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. If you arrive after 11:00 p.m., you should have received self check-in instructions in advance. Otherwise, please contact us: +351 266 079 000 (national landline call).
3. Required documents
According to Portuguese law, we need:
Valid identification document (Citizen Card or Passport)
For foreign citizens: official document for registration with SEF
Registration is mandatory for all guests. If you have already checked in online, the process will be faster.
4. Payment
Payment can be requested at check-in (if not previously made). We accept:
Debit card
Credit card
ATM
MB Way
5. After check-in
After completing the process:
You will receive the card or access code
We will show you the parking lot closest to your room.
We briefly explain how breakfast, the restaurant, and activities work.
Only then do we recommend removing your luggage.
Schedules
Check-in: from 3:00 PM
Check-out: by 11 a.m.
If you arrive before 3 p.m., you can leave your luggage at the reception and enjoy the property.
Late arrivals
If you expect to arrive after 11 p.m.:
Please let us know in advance.
You will receive an access code and detailed instructions.
The emergency telephone is always available.
A final note
Gandum is not a hotel with long corridors and impersonal elevators. It is a place spread out across the landscape. That is why the first step is always to pass through reception. The rest happens naturally.
