HOW TO GET TO GANDUM

🚗 from Lisbon to Montemor-o-Novo

Option 1 — A6 Highway

• Leave Lisbon via the A2

• After the 25 de Abril Bridge, continue onto the A6 (Évora/Mérida).

• Exit at Exit 5 — Montemor-o-Novo

• At the roundabout, continue towards Montemor-o-Novo

• Continue for about 2 km until you reach Gandum.

Option 2 — National Road N4

• Leave Lisbon via the A12 (Vasco da Gama Bridge)

• Continue on the N4 towards Montemor-o-Novo

• Continue for about 90 km to the city.

⚠️ Attention

There are two routes. One of them passes through "Porto das Lãs," an underwater passage that may become inaccessible on days of heavy rain.

Route 1 - MAIN - Via LIDL and NATIONAL 2

🙌🏼 Recommended during the RAINY SEASON

• Make sure your route passes by LIDL in Montemor-o-Novo (in other words, you can simply choose Gandum as your destination from LIDL in Montemor-o-Novo).

• Follow the N2 towards Ciborro

• After about 2 km, turn right onto EM537

• Follow the signs to Reguengo de São Mateus.

• Continue for about 3 km until you reach Gandum.

Route 2 - Via Porto das Lãs - Only in dry weather

⚠️ NORMALLY INACCESSIBLE DURING THE RAINY SEASON

• Follow Rua de São Domingos (EM537)

• Stop by the A Ribeira restaurant

• Continue for about 1.4 km
