Preparing for the future with our feet firmly planted in the present

We didn't create Gandum to be just a place where you sleep well. We created it to be a place where life makes more sense, even if only for a few days.

The world moves too fast, is too optimized, full of easy answers to complex problems. Gandum was born precisely in the opposite direction: to open up space and create time. Time to think, to be, to do, to do nothing—without guilt.

We are made of earth, but we do not live bound to the ground.

We build with natural materials, produce our own energy, and return everything we don't use back to the earth. Not because it's trendy, but because nature never wastes anything — and we don't want to waste anything either.

We are not a hotel. We are a place in use.

Gandum was not conceived as a tourist product. It was conceived as a livable place where different lives intersect. Here there is room for:

  • families on weekends

  • teams on retreat during the week

  • people working remotely

  • neighbors who come just for lunch

  • who needs silence

  • who needs to talk

We don't believe in "perfect" experiences. We believe in real places, where comfort exists, but doesn't take away from life.

To reinvent the present

We don't talk much about "changing the world." We talk about living better now. At Gandum, the future is not a distant concept. It is something that is built day by day, in small decisions: how we build, how we cook, how we work, and how we receive.

We want you to find a different rhythm here. A rhythm that gives back what everyday life takes away: clarity, attention, creativity. A place where important decisions can be made without haste — and where simple decisions regain their value.

For everyone (really)

Gandum is not a club. It is not an exclusive refuge. It is not a place "for those in the know."

It's for those who come with curiosity.

For those who want quality time.

For those who do, think, create, and care.

For those traveling with family.

For those coming as a team.

For those who come alone.

Here, no one has to fit a profile. The space adapts to people, not the other way around.

For the first few times

There is something special about the things we do for the first time. At Gandum, there is room for:

  • write that text that I never started

  • draw an old idea

  • cook something new

  • grow what we eat

  • listen to silence without discomfort

We don't promise transformation. We create conditions. The rest happens—or doesn't—at your own pace.

For memories that cannot be measured

We are not particularly interested in perfect photographs. We are more interested in what does not fit on a screen. A long conversation. A simple but well-prepared meal. A walk with no destination. An idea that comes to mind at the end of the afternoon. The best memories are not measured in likes. They remain in the body, not in the feed.

For a better future (without empty rhetoric)

We don't believe in sustainability as marketing. We see sustainability as a practical opportunity. An opportunity to:

  • live more comfortably and with less excess

  • produce better, not more

  • work with real people, locally, nearby

  • make an impact without making noise

Gandum is a living laboratory. A place where different ways of living, working, and receiving are tested—without fixed formulas or moralizing.

An invitation, not a response

At Gandum, we don't tell you how to live. We create a space where you can discover for yourself what makes sense. With your feet in the present. With your eyes on the future.

It's not a destination. It's a movement. Will you join us?
