Instructions for late arrivals (after 11pm)
If you've arrived after reception time, don't worry, follow these simple steps to access your room.
1️⃣ Check in online 📝
Before accessing the room, you need to complete the online check-in.
👉 Check in online via the link you received by email or WhatsApp
2️⃣ Receive your access code 🔑
After check-in, you will receive a code by email/SMS. This code:
✅ O pen the entrance gate
Gives you access to your accommodation
📍 Entrance gate: Enter the code on the keypad to the left of the gate. It will open automatically.
3️⃣ Go to your room 🚶♂️
After entering Gandum Village, follow the signs:
🟢 If your room is from 21 to 38
👉 Follow the main road and the signs to the Cloister
👉 Pass the bridge over the Ribeira do Gandum
👉 Go up the hill and turn right to go around the building at the top of the hill(Cloister).
🚗 The parking lot for these rooms is at the back of the building
🟡 If you're in Casa 1, 2 or 3
👉 Your house is right in the main building, next to the parking lot with pergolas.

Woke up not knowing where you are? Don't worry, breakfast is waiting for you!
🍞 Breakfast time: 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
📍 Where? at the Provenance restaurant
👉 Follow the signs to the Provenance restaurant.
🚶 O n foot: Just a 3-minute walk.
By car: You can park in the main parking lot, right next door.
💡 Tip: The Provenance restaurant is at the top of the main parking lot with pergolas.
Reception
🕒 Reception hours
Our reception is open from 7am to 11pm. Outside these hours, there is no one present at reception, but we are still available for emergencies by telephone.
👀 Where to find the reception?
We have two receptions at Gandum Village:
📍 C ork building - right at the entrance to Gandum.
📍 Provenance Bar - at the top of the main parking lot with pergolas.
The team can be in either or both.
💡 Tip
If you arrive by car, please park in the designated areas. Respect the silence so as not to disturb other guests.
🗺️ How to get to Gandum Village from Lisbon
Option 1: Via the A6 highway
Departure from Lisbon:
Get on the A2 heading south.
After the 25 de Abril Bridge, follow the signs for the A6 towards Évora/Mérida.
On the A6:
Continue to exit 5 for Montemor-o-Novo.
After leaving:
At the traffic circle, take the first exit towards Montemor-o-Novo.
Continue for about 2 km until you reach the town.
Option 2: Via National Road N4
Departure from Lisbon:
Get on the A12 towards Montijo.
After the Vasco da Gama Bridge, follow the signs for the N4 towards Montemor-o-Novo.
On the N4:
Continue for approximately 90 km until you reach Montemor-o-Novo.
🚗 From the center of Montemor-o-Novo to Gandum Village
Please note: There are two ways to get to Gandum Village. One of them passes through Porto das Lãs, a submerged paved passage which, during periods of heavy rain, can be inaccessible. We recommend checking the weather conditions before choosing your route.
Route 1: Via Porto das Lãs
From the center of Montemor-o-Novo: Take Rua de São Domingos (EM537) towards Porto das Lãs. Pass the restaurant "A Ribeira".
Continue for about 1.4 km until you reach Gandum Village.
Note: This route may be inaccessible during periods of heavy rain due to rising water levels. Check the conditions before taking this route.
Route 2: Via N2 (Recommended in case of bad weather)
From the center of Montemor-o-Novo: Take the N2 towards Ciborro.
After about 2 km: Turn right onto the EM537, following signs for Reguengo de São Mateus.
Continue for approximately 3 km until you reach Gandum Village.
